Anne Curtis may have reached the heights of fame that most of us can only dream of, but she never forgets to stay grounded.
For #ThrowbackThursday, the “It’s Showtime” host touched her fans and followers’ hearts with a post dedicated to her favorite taho vendor, Mang Boy. Apparently, she was on set for a shooting when Mang Boy’s son, Kuya Sendong, happened to pass by.

“When I was young lagi kami bumibili ng taho kay Mang Boy. Suki naming sya sa may amin sa Mandaluyong. As in every day… Today, I got to meet his son Kuya Sendong. He told me na wala na daw [yung] tatay nya at sya na daw ang nagpapatuloy sa pagtataho. Nakakamiss.”
Moments like this don’t happen every day, so Anne Curtis decided to commemorate Mang Boy’s life with a photo and a fitting caption.
